Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Application refers to Compartirnos, including the Free version (Compartirnos Trial) and the Pro version (Compartirnos), the software program provided by the Company.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Alpaca Apps / Compartirnos, Argentina.
  • Country refers to: Argentina
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • Service Provider means third-party companies employed by the Company to facilitate the Service (including Google AdMob and Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, including unique device identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), device type, operating system, unique device identifiers (including Android Advertising IDs) and diagnostic data.

Application Version Distinction: In the Free/Trial version of the Application, Usage Data and Advertising IDs are used by Google AdMob to facilitate the delivery of advertisements. The Pro version of the Application does not display third-party advertisements and does not use data for advertising purposes.

Diagnostic Data (Crash Reports)

To improve app stability, we use Firebase Crashlytics. In the event of a crash, we collect technical information (stack traces, device model) to fix the issue. This data is handled ephemerally and is not used for marketing.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company uses Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service: including monitoring usage and improving stability via crash reporting.
  • To facilitate Advertising: (Free version only) AdMob uses device identifiers to show relevant ads.

Data Deletion and Retention

We do not store Your personal data on our own servers, nor do we provide a user account system. However, third-party identifiers (like the Advertising ID) are handled as follows:

  • Automatic Deletion: All diagnostic logs and usage data collected via Firebase and AdMob are automatically deleted or anonymized by the service providers within a period typically not exceeding 90 days.
  • User-Initiated Deletion: Since we do not have an account system, you can "delete" the data associated with your device by resetting or deleting your Advertising ID through your Android settings: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete Advertising ID.
